True to size. Iβm on my feet a lot at work and these have been really great so far, the only other shoes I can compare them to are my zero brand slip ons. Same comfort but these definitely look more like βnormalβ shoes which is what I was going for
I was very pleased with the shoes from Rutsu. They appear to be well-built and were exceptionally comfortable. I'd say at the price I paid, they were a very good value.

I've been looking for wide-toebox, natrual-spread, barefoot-style shoes that look like classic canvas sneakers for years, nobody seemed to make them, and then I found these! Lightweight, really comfortable to walk in, my toes feel great, and the zipper at the back is GENIUS. I wish more shoes had that feature. I immediately got online and ordered another pair.

These have become my go to shoes for almost everything. They're incredibly comfortable and look good with any style of pants or shorts. They also wear like iron. I continue to order more colors as I replace almost every shoe I had from other brands. My feet also feel stronger the more I wear them. Buy them, you won't regret it. The customer service can't be beat, I had a minor issue with a early pair, promptly the issue was corrected. So fortunate to have found this company.

These are well made and very comfortable. They are stylish, which is a nice addition to my barefoot shoe collections. I wish there was a wide size option. I've been wearing barefoot shoes for a while so my feet are getting pretty wide.
True test was wearing them on my first outing to the Minnesota state fair. Miles of walking and very little time off my feet. Usually the next day when is when i feel it most. These were some of the most comfy shoes I put on initially, but I wasnβt sold. After walking most of the day I felt great in how they feltβ¦. But waking up the next day, I was kinda blown away that I had very little soreness. I mean very little. Completely impressed and canβt wait to wear them in Spain!
I have been wearing barefoot style shoes for more than a decade. These are great and budget friendly. Stitching and materials seem top notch. We will see how they hold up in the long run but after a few weeks I still really like them. Will be buying another pair down the road!
These are probably the most comfortable sandals I own. The adjustable straps help me get the best fit. The buckles are low-profile and donβt bother me when I cross my ankles. The supple leather and the light cushioning of the cork footbed along with the flexibility of the sole are comfortable for my feet. The extra strap for the big toe makes them feel very secure when walking. Fit is true to size. This style goes well with a variety of outfits.

I have worn these probably about 10-15 days now, they are really soft and comfortable, look nice. My only issue is that the cork bottoms do get stained by the soles of your feet and start to stink. I scrubbed them with vinegar solution and a toothbrush and that seems to have helped but not sure how long before they start to smell again!
I've been wanting a good barefoot sandal for a while and I've found it! They are so soft, comfortable and stylish. I had ordered a size 7 and had to exchange for a 7.5. Now my fit is perfect and I'm so happy. Rutsu made the exchange process so smooth and easy. I plan to order again when possible and will be sure to tell others how great this company is.

I've been scouring the Internet for months looking for other barefoot styles than the Xeros I've been wearing. I liked most of my Xeros, but felt like some of them weren't quite wide enough, and they were really expensive. I was excited by the style of the Rutsu high tops. And the price was reasonable. I followed the size guide and my new Rutsus fit perfectly! I love the roomy width. There are a couple spots rubbing on top of my toes after wearing them a couple hours, but I think they just need to break in and soften up a bit and should be fine. I love them so much that I want to buy a pair of the low top in white now, but my size (7.5) is out of stock.
Hands down my favorite bare foot sneaker so far! Will give an update in a few months to see how they hold up to wear and tear!
Just last week I received my olive green Rutsu high top sneakers. Here I am 67 years old and they're the first high tops I ever owned!! I was inquiring to the company about their soles as I had never seen the bottoms on any pictures. They kindly responded to me that they are transitioning their soles and that is why they have not had any photos. I have to tell you I love the soles! They are nice and grippy and very flexible. Also important, a true zero drop. I don't have to replace the shoelaces like I usually do because they are very soft and actually stay tied unlike so many of the laces you get with minimalist shoes.
I also inquired as to size and sent my measurements. My feet are approximately 22.8 cm length x 8.9 cm wide. I asked them to choose for me between a 6 1/2 or 7.
I was sent a size 7 and the length is very good I have almost a thumb width above my big toe and that is perfect. My pinky toes like just a little more room so I took the nice insoles out and now they are perfect! Very lightweight as well.
The canvas is good quality and I am impressed that the shoe is sewn not just glued to the sole. I love the contrasting color of the sole to the olive green of the shoe. I got many compliments about the contrasting colors too! I really like them and definitely want to order again!!
